धनदाय नमस्तुभ्यम निधिपद्माधिवाय च  I

भवन्तु त्वत्प्रसादान्मे  धन धन्यदिसेम्पध II

Dhanteras Laxmi Mantra

महालक्ष्यमये  च विधमहे विष्णु             I

पतन्ये च धीमहे तन्नो लक्ष्मी प्रचोदयात      II

Dhanteras-is the first day of Diwali which usually falls one or two days before Lakshmi Puja. The word ‘Dhanteras’, as the word ‘Dhan’ literally means wealth and ‘Tera’ comes from 13th. This festival is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and energy. People in India will celebrate the festival of by purchasing gold, silver or anything new on this day. Dhanteras usually falls before Laxmi Puja which is the main day of Diwali festival.Lord Kubera, the God of assets and wealth is also worshiped on this auspicious day.

This year we 'INDIAN' are going to celebrate Dhanteras on 26 October 2016.

Dhanteras will make your puja more fruitful by chanting mantras and praying Lord Kuber and Goddess Laxmi.
